Corinthians faced Sport Huancayo in a Copa Sudamericana group stage game on 20th May. 

Corinthians took the lead after 11 minutes through Gustavo Silva and Mateus Vital made it two after 35 minutes. Joazhino Arroe saw red for the Peruvians in the 52nd minute and then the floodgates opened. Gil scored a third five minues later and then Gustavo Silva got Corinthians' fourth in the 69th minute. The Brazilians missed out on qualification after finishing 2nd on 10 points while Huancayo were bottom with just one point. Penarol were top with 13 points and River Plate Asuncion were 3rd on 10 points.
