Another star makes the move to the Saudi League. Just days after Wolves' star Ruben Neves announced his signing for Al Hilal, he has been joined by former Chelsea defender, Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Senegalese defender joined the Blues just last summer on a move from Napoli, making 32 appearances for the London side in his sole campaign.
"Kalidou Koulibaly has left Chelsea after completing a permanent transfer to Saudi Professional League side Al-Hilal," Chelsea said in a statement. "We would like to thank Kalidou for his contributions on and off the pitch during his time at Stamford Bridge and wish him well for the next stage of his career."
He was spotted on Saturday leaving medicals for the Saudi team, and will reportedly be earning €25 million-per-season with the club.
The deal he has signed is supposedly for three years with the Saudi outfit, and it is unlikely he will be last star to make such a deal this summer. Other Chelsea players linked to Saudi clubs include Hakim Ziyech (Al-Nassr) and Edouard Mendy (Al Ahli).
