Manchester United have seen Chelsea reject their third bid for Mason Mount and have therefore decided to withdraw from negotiations on Saturday, according to reports in 'The Times'. The Mancunian club have already turned their attention to another target.
Over the past week, the Red Devils have made three bids to the Blues, all of which have increased in value, but they have always come up against the demands of Todd Boehly's board, who are asking for almost €70 million for the 24-year-old.
Ten Hag's side believe that €55 million - the value of the latest offer - would be the most appropriate amount, given that the Englishman's contract with the London club runs until June 2024.
As a result, the Old Trafford outfit are already looking for another solution and hope to begin negotiations soon with Brighton for Ecuadorian Moises Caicedo (21), valued at €75 million.
