Several clubs are interested in the 17-year-old player Vitor Roque. Real Madrid and Barcelona are targeting him.
The striker gave an interview to 'Sport' before the encounter against Flamengo in the Copa Libertadores. The young player preferred to leave all doors open for the future: he was asked if he preferred Madrid or Barca: "I like both, they are very big clubs that are always at the top. I don't have any preferences, I like all the big European clubs. It's a dream for any kid who plays football in Brazil to be able to make the leap to a big club," he said.
Roque revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo is his inspiration: "I like him a lot, he is an inspiration for me. He has been an idol since I was a child."
The footballer explained that he was not feeling any pressure despite knowing that several clubs are targeting him: "I try to stay calm and focus on the match. I like playing under pressure."
Vitor Roque revealed that his clause is lower than the one he had at Cruzeiro, which was 300 million euros: "It's quite a bit lower, not very high," he explained.
As for the final against Flamengo he said he was happy and proud to be in it at just 17 years old: "We're going to work hard. We hope to win the title," he concluded.
