Karim Benzema, according to Fabrizio Romano on Monday, has signed main part of docs to become new Al Ittihad player joining the Saudi league. He will remain tied to Al Ittihad until 2025, although he could extend his contract with the Saudi side for another season.

Karim Benzema played his last game for Real Madrid on Sunday. After rumours that he himself denied and after several back-and-forth about his decision, the club finally announced the agreement for the striker to end his successful spell at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The '9' said goodbye to his team with a goal against Athletic and less than 24 hours later he already has his mind on Al Ittihad. This Saudi Arabian team will be his new destination and the Frenchman has already signed some documents with his new team.

According to Fabrizio Romano, a journalist specialised in the transfer market, Benzema has already signed the main part of his new contract with Al Ittihad.

In principle, this agreement will tie the Frenchman to the Saudi Arabian club until 2025. However, according to the aforementioned source, the agreement includes a clause that would extend the contract for one more season.
