Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong is in the spotlight as several European clubs are keeping an eye on him. The Dutchman has been a surprise package this season.
The 22-year-old has scored nine goals and provided ten assists in 48 competitive matches this campaign. The defender has been a key player in Xabi Alonso's squad.
As a result, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Barcelona are interested in signing him for next term and they have contacted his agent. All teams would like Frimpong to join to bolster their defences.
The same media outlet reports that the clubs met in April but negotiations have stalled. His transfer could cost between 35 and 40 million euros.
